SvaraRaderavery nice!
SvaraRaderaThank you kindly for sharing this with us. I am certainly going to make this.
SvaraRaderaFor English speaker/readers, she used Bulky Weight yarn with US10 needles, cast on 47 stitches for all three sections and used approximately 131 yards (120 meters).
She knit for as long as she desired for each section according to her own torso length. She joined the seams using a crochet hook method.

SvaraRaderaHi, Can anyone tell me how many 100gram balls of wool I'll need please? Thanks x
SvaraRaderaThanks for providing Google Translate. I think I would have understood from your diagrams, too. This is a great idea, and doesn't take a lot of yarn. Thanks!

SvaraRaderaAwesome. Thanks for translating Fibre and colour - my translate button isn't showing on this site!
SvaraRaderaJust found this sweater it looks fantastic. However I cannot see the dimension on the drawing you provided. Could you please give again. Thanks Pauline
SvaraRaderaThe measurement for the back pieces appears to be 70cm wide and 120cm long. The front piece is 70cm wide by 90cm long. The collar is 70cm wide by 60cm long. This appears to be a tunic for a tall person. Each person should make this to fit their own measurements.
RaderaMy translation didn't show either. Thanks Fiber and Color!
SvaraRaderaHåller på att sticka denna underbara poncho tröja!!'
SvaraRaderaHar garn som är tjocks som rep:)
This pattern is great! My translate button didn't want to show so thank you fiber and color!!
SvaraRaderaThe lovely thick yarn comes from Black Sheep but are purchased in the store Västamo in Vasteras. For that I have used needles size 10. For all three pieces (front, back and polo collar) I have put up 47 stitches, then knit as much as I have enjoyed has been good. Then I used a crochet hook to assemble shirt.
SvaraRadera5 ball was spent on my new sweater.
This knit requires 5 balls of bulky yarn at 120 m each ball (600 m total). Knit on 10 mm needles 47 stitches to 70 cm. Cast on 47 stitches and knit each row until you reach your desired length for each section. 90 cm for front, 120 cm for back and 60 cm for collar. Using crochet method and following diagram as your guide, piece together.
SvaraRaderaThank you for posting, this is lovely.
SvaraRaderaThis pattern uses 600 m of Bulky weight yarn. It is knit on 10 mm needles. She has cast on 47 stitches for each section and straight knit until the front is 90 cm, the back is 120 cm and the collar is 60 cm. The sweater is pieced together using the crochet method and following the diagram. The length of each section is up to your own discretion.
Your garment is beautiful, simple and elegant. Exactly what I need in my closet.
SvaraRaderaThank you.
Hur har du lagat ihop bitarna när du stickat färdigt? :)
SvaraRaderaI have seen US10 and 10mm listed for this pattern. Does anyone know which it is OR the gauge of this yarn?
SvaraRaderaI have been wanting to make this since I first saw it. Thank you for your clever design and for providing more information. And thanks also to google translate and helpful commenters. Good team effort :)
SvaraRaderaHur många maskor har du beräknad o till vad för sorts garn?
SvaraRaderaHi Steff, did you get an answer to your question? Is it US10 needle (6mm UK) or 10mm UK needles. I started knitting with UK 6mm (US10) 47 stitches and it doesn't seem wide enough - now I'm confused....any help would be appreciated :)
SvaraRaderaIs it US10 (6mm UK) or 10mm UK.
SvaraRaderaCan someone please confirm if it's US10 (6mm UK) or 10mm needles, I started with 47 stitches with size US10 but it seems really small any help will be appreciated thanks
SvaraRaderawhat's a good stitch to mirror this one?
